Poodle

I was commissioned to make these 3 poodles! I am very happy with how they came out. To create these 3 I modified a free pattern from Red Hearts website called Pomp A Poodle. By working inside out it enabled me to add the loop stitches to the legs, tail and head and i shortened the neck and legs a bit. Also it was requested that the brown poodle have gold eyes so i got to try out painting clear eyes for the first time. In order to sink the eyes into the head and give the appearance of a lid i make a gap 1 or 2 stitches larger than the eye in the piece where i want the eyes (the same way you would a button hole) and use plastic canvas to hold them in place like this. It really adds a whole new dimension to the dolls faces.

I couldn't be happier. It was great doing business with you and will definitely recommend you to anyone who is interested in finely crafted crochet items.
